- Speed- The Stego Pro is a unique tire built for racers and riders who want the best in speed and traction control. The 6-ply rating of the Stego Pro keeps the tire light and mirrors the design of many championship racing tires. By utilizing a 6-ply rating, you get a tire that can withstand the rigors of off-road racing but without the additional weight that comes from installing a heavier-duty 8 or 10-ply tire. This decreased weight gives you maximum top speed with your UTV while also keeping you light and agile when hitting fast turns and maneuvers.
- Endurance- In addition to the ply-rating, the Stego Pro is a true radial tire. This significantly increases the tire's overall strength and durability and protects the tire from punctures and scrapes. However, the benefits don't stop there- being radial also increases the tire's footprint for greater traction while at the same time decreasing the tire's rolling resistance- which is just another way of saying that when you take your foot of the gas, your machine has a lot less work to do to keep it's speed! As a result, you can much more easily maintain a consistent RPM and put less strain on your engine.
- Traction- The tire also features a unique cross-hatched tread pattern with over 3/4" tread depth. This combination gives you fantastic grip at any angle and at any direction of travel. So, whether you are flying down a straightaway or powering through a turn, your UTV will stay planted and give you that ultimate "hugging" the ground felling.
