The MSA Bolo Beadlock (MA53) is a true beadlock, so a bolted outer ring clamps the tire bead to the wheel and keeps it seated when you air down for rocks, sand or mud. MSA pairs that ring system with a curved mesh face, aggressive detailing and built-in dirt-release channels that help the wheel shed debris.
Three finishes are offered. Gloss black milled outlines the curved spokes with bright cuts, matte black with a gloss gunmetal ring stays dark with a two-tone accent, and gloss silver with a machined face is the bright option for a dark machine.
Machines MSA highlights for the Bolo include the Can-Am Maverick X3, Polaris RZR Pro R, Yamaha RMAX and Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, all high-performance platforms. Each finish comes as a 15x7 at +10mm or +38mm, and an 18x7 at +10mm covers taller builds. As with every beadlock, it is sold for off-road use only.
MSA Bolo Beadlock (MA53) Key Features
- Curved Mesh Face: Swept spokes form a mesh pattern with plenty of detail around the ring.
- +38mm 15x7 Option: The deeper offset tucks the wheel inward with 5.50" of backspacing.
- Self-Cleaning Channels: Built into the design so packed mud and grit can work their way out.
- Pattern Coverage: The 15x7 is drilled in 4x110, 4x137, 4x156 or 5x114.3, and the 18x7 drops 4x110.
Bolt Pattern Guide
Always confirm your machine's bolt pattern before ordering.
- 4x110 (86.00mm center bore; 15x7): Common on many Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki ATVs and some utility side-by-sides.
- 4x137 (96.00mm center bore; 15x7, 18x7): Common on Can-Am (Maverick, Defender), Honda (Talon, Pioneer), and Kawasaki (Teryx) machines.
- 4x156 (115.10mm center bore; 15x7, 18x7): Common on Polaris (RZR, Ranger, General) and late-model Yamaha machines.
- 5x114.3 (72.56mm center bore; 15x7, 18x7): Also listed as 5/4.5. Used on Polaris Pro R and Turbo R models.
Important Fitment & Use Notes
- Off-Road Use Only: MSA sells its beadlock wheels for off-road use only. Off-road-only wheels are illegal on public roads in many states and provinces, so check your state and local laws before you ride.
- Beadlock Maintenance: Torque the beadlock ring bolts to MSA's specification when the tire is mounted, then recheck them after the first few rides and after any hard hit. Mounting a beadlock takes longer than a standard wheel, so use a shop experienced with beadlocks if you aren't set up for it.
- Fitment Check: Confirm your machine's bolt pattern, and check that the offset and tire size clear your suspension, brakes, and fenders at full lock and full compression before mounting.
- Replacement Center Caps: MSA part numbers by finish: Gloss Black Milled: MACAP100BXP0001SX; Matte Black w/ Gloss Gunmetal Ring: MACAP100MXB0001SX; Gloss Silver w/ Machined Face: MACAP100PXB0001SX.
