South Racing and the Monster Energy Can-Am team ran the 409 at the 43rd Dakar Rally, which is why Method calls it Dakar Proven. Method's patented Bead Grip Technology® and an aggressive safety hump hold the tire bead in place under hard side loads and low air pressure, without the extra work of a beadlock.
Matte black covers 15x7, 15x8 and 15x10 sizes in 4x136, 4x156, 5x4.5 and 6x5.5, and our remaining steel grey stock adds 15x7 and 15x10 options. Every size is rated for 1,600 lbs.

Vehicle Application Guide
Always confirm your machine's bolt pattern and hub before ordering.
- 4x136 Bolt Pattern (106.25mm center bore; 15x7, 15x8, 15x10): Method lists this pattern as 4x136; it is the same fitment many brands call 4x137, common on Can-Am (Maverick, Defender), Honda (Talon, Pioneer) and Kawasaki (Teryx) machines.
- 4x156 Bolt Pattern (132mm center bore; 15x7, 15x8, 15x10): Common on Polaris (RZR, Ranger, General) and late-model Yamaha machines.
- 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern (72mm center bore; 15x7): Also listed as 5x4.5. Used on the Polaris RZR Pro R and Turbo R.
- 6x139.7 Bolt Pattern (78.3mm center bore; 15x7, 15x10): Also listed as 6x5.5. Used on the Can-Am Maverick R.
Important Fitment & Use Notes
- Bead Grip® Is Not a Beadlock: Method designed Bead Grip® as a bridge between a conventional wheel and a beadlock. The tire mounts and seals like a standard wheel, with no ring bolts to maintain.
- Street Use: Bead Grip® wheels have no beadlock ring, so they suit street-legal UTV conversions (check your local laws).
- Fitment Check: Confirm your machine's bolt pattern and hub bore, and check that the offset and tire size clear your suspension, brakes, and fenders at full lock and full compression before mounting. Lug nuts are sold separately.
- Replacement Center Caps: Method part numbers: CP-T080B72, CP-T080K104, CP-T080K123 (see the Center Cap column below for each size).
- Limited Stock: Some sizes and finishes here have been discontinued by Method. Once our remaining stock sells, they will not be restocked.
- Warranty: Covered by Method Race Wheels' manufacturer warranty.
