Method designed the 407 to survive cross-country rallies and desert races like the Dakar, cutting unneeded material from the hub to save weight while still meeting a 1,600 lb load rating. Its patented Bead Grip Technology® adds grooves to both bead seats that bite into the tire bead, so you can drop pressure for traction without a beadlock ring to maintain.
The 15x6 +51mm fits 4x136, 4x156, 5x4.5 and 6x5.5 hubs in matte black, and a 14x6 +38mm 4x136 rounds out the range. Our remaining Bahia Blue stock is a 15x6 4x156.
Method 407 Bead Grip (MR407) Key Features
- Bead Grip Technology®: Grooved inner and outer bead seats grab the tire bead, so it resists unseating at the low pressures rally racers run.
- Aggressive Safety Hump: A taller hump on each bead seat adds another layer of protection against de-beading.
- Rally-Inspired Spokes: Multi-spoke design with a debossed METHOD logo on the outer lip.
- Weight Saved at the Hub: Material Method considered unnecessary was machined away to keep the wheel light.
- Race-Derived Inner Lip: The reinforced inner lip comes from Method's race wheel.
Vehicle Application Guide
Always confirm your machine's bolt pattern and hub before ordering.
- 4x136 Bolt Pattern (100mm center bore; 14x6, 15x6): Method lists this pattern as 4x136; it is the same fitment many brands call 4x137, common on Can-Am (Maverick, Defender), Honda (Talon, Pioneer) and Kawasaki (Teryx) machines.
- 4x156 Bolt Pattern (120mm center bore; 15x6): Common on Polaris (RZR, Ranger, General) and late-model Yamaha machines.
- 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern (77mm center bore; 15x6): Also listed as 5x4.5. Used on the Polaris RZR Pro R and Turbo R.
- 6x139.7 Bolt Pattern (78.3mm center bore; 15x6): Also listed as 6x5.5. Used on the Can-Am Maverick R.
Important Fitment & Use Notes
- Bead Grip® Is Not a Beadlock: Method designed Bead Grip® as a bridge between a conventional wheel and a beadlock. The tire mounts and seals like a standard wheel, with no ring bolts to maintain.
- Street Use: Bead Grip® wheels have no beadlock ring, so they suit street-legal UTV conversions (check your local laws).
- Fitment Check: Confirm your machine's bolt pattern and hub bore, and check that the offset and tire size clear your suspension, brakes, and fenders at full lock and full compression before mounting. Lug nuts are sold separately.
- Limited Stock: Some sizes and finishes here have been discontinued by Method. Once our remaining stock sells, they will not be restocked.
- Warranty: Covered by Method Race Wheels' manufacturer warranty.
