Searching for exceptional grip and stability? Look no further than the KR35 tire, engineered to deliver confidence on challenging road surfaces. Its innovative tread composition, enhanced with silica, ensures optimal performance when you need it most.
- Radial Construction Advantages: The Kenda Karrier KR35 stands out as a top-tier radial trailer tire infused with silica. It's radial construction offers numerous benefits, particularly for the KR35, including enhanced ride comfort and improved fuel efficiency. The tire's flexible sidewalls absorb road irregularities, reducing vibrations transmitted to your vehicle. Additionally, this construction helps minimize fuel consumption, offsetting the potential decrease in efficiency caused by the tire's pliable rubber compound.
- Silica-Enhanced Formula: A key feature of the KR35 is its silica-infused tread. This addition maintains rubber flexibility, ensuring consistent road grip even in cold conditions. The tire's performance is further improved by an increased number of tread blocks, providing more edges to engage with the road surface. This design enhances traction, handling, and stability, reducing trailer sway.
- Tread Pattern Innovations: The tire's five-rib layout and specialized tread arc promote uniform wear and maximize road contact. These features ensure straight tracking on highways and optimal cornering capabilities. Most importantly, they extend the tire's lifespan, reducing the frequency of replacements.
Kenda Loadstar KR35 Highlights:
- Exceptional control in adverse conditions (cold, wet, off-road)
- Smooth and hushed ride quality
- Outstanding longevity and wear resistance
Kenda 13" Steel MOD Wheel Characteristics
Kenda Steel MOD wheels are crafted from domestically sourced steel coils using state-of-the-art techniques. The manufacturing process involves automated shaping and robot-assisted precision assembly and welding. Post-formation, the wheels undergo thorough cleaning, electrostatic painting, and powder coating. This comprehensive approach results in superior rust protection and an exceptional finish. By pairing the high-performance Kenda Karrier KR35 tire with the Kenda Steel MOD wheel, you're investing in a dependable wheel and tire combination.
Perfect For:
- Replacement tires for fall/winter season towing
- Off-road trailers
Please note: For image quality purposes, the Galvanized wheel photo features a 5-lug pattern. This is due to a higher color quality in the image. The wheel that comes in this combination will be a 4-lug bolt pattern.

Benefits of Silica in Tires
Although the use of Silica in tires has been around since the 1990's, very few understand the reasoning behind the addition and what makes Silica unique. In general, the addition of Silica into tires accomplishes two things that were thought to be antithetical to each other in the tire world- increasing grip/traction while at the same time increasing fuel efficiency. Here is a breakdown of the benefits of having Silica infused tires:
- Improved traction in wet and wintery conditions: The addition of Silica into the rubber compound of a tire allows the tire to maintain greater flexibility at lower temperatures. By allowing the tire to maintain it's flexibility it is better able to conform to the underlying road surface which translates to better grip and traction.
-
Increased fuel efficiency: One of the main losses of energy from a tire is when a tire "rebounds" from deformation. Silica makes tires slightly softer which means they are able to rebound to their original shape with a lot less energy. This translates into decreases rolling resistance which means your tires require less energy to maintain their speed. By reducing rolling resistance, you significantly increase your fuel efficiency.
- Decreased tire wear: The addition of silica into a tire increases the tire's abrasion resistance. This makes the tire more resilient to the abrasive power of road surfaces, extending the tread life.
