Real-World Feedback
1. Rock Crawling (The "Sticky" Factor)
The H.A.R.C. compound version is the star here. Consistent feedback from the trails shows machines "walking up" technical ledges and slick rock that previously required heavy momentum. The spaced-out shoulder lugs allow the tire to "wrap" around sharp edges for insane bite.
2. High-Speed Stability
Built for 100mph+ machines, the lateral stability is exceptional. It eliminates the "squirmy" or "wandering" feel common in other all-terrains, tracking laser-straight due to robust rotating mass.
3. Mud & Clean-out
While not a "mud tire," the Savage XT features a high void ratio. It clears thick East Coast clay better than the Roxxzilla, KM3, or Tensor Regulator ever dreamt of, making it a true 4-season contender.
4. Durability vs. Weight
At ~51 lbs (for 32"), it is heavier than a Roxxzilla (well, and everything else, actually). However, that weight buys you a nearly bulletproof sidewall. If you're tired of "pinch flats" ending your weekend, the extra weight is a trade-off worth making.
