Users of the Liberty, note that this tire provides an extremely comfortable ride over rough terrain, especially when used at a slightly lower PSI. Because of this, the tire excels when embarking on longer trail rides that require endurance from the tires and the driver. In addition to the ride comfort, users praise the Maxxis Liberty’s long tread life. One of the tire performance reviews put 3,000-3,500 miles on the tires before noticing any significant wear. Users have also taken this tire over rocky terrain, with very few stating that the tire went flat or had any major slippage. Lastly, this tire performs extremely well on hard packed trails, slightly rocky terrain, and deserts. It is worth noting, however, that users claim that the tire does not perform as well in mud or very loose sand due to the tread design not allowing for easy debris removal.
