EFX® MotoClaw UTV/ATV Tire | 6/8-Ply

Dynamic traction and grip mechanics
With a high "void-to-lug" ratio, the MotoClaw tire excels on a variety of terrains but specializes in mixed trails, loose loam, and rock. By concentrating the downward pressure onto each individual lug, the high void ratio allows the tire to easily penetrate the top layer of soil or mud and anchor into the sub-surface. While other tires may spin out on loose terrain, the MotoClaw digs deep, boosting your acceleration and steering response. The open channels also quickly clear out caked-in mud and debris, keeping your biting edges fresh and unobstructed. Every rotation of the tire renews the contact patch, ensuring the lugs are primed to provide uninterrupted traction.
Smooth ride and constant control
High void tires often have a bumpy ride on harder terrain and a "squirmy" feeling at high speeds and turns. The MotoClaw tackles this problem head-on with its staggered and overlapping center tread. As the tire rolls, the center tread blocks transfer ground contact, overlapping with each other to ensure a seamless transition. By constantly engaging the centerline of the tire, you maintain steady, vibration-free control at high speeds, while the stout shoulder lugs keep you planted on sharp turns.
Anti-slip siping
Through additional siping and irregular pockets on the face of the lugs, the MotoClaw powers through slick and uneven surfaces. These small changes aren't just for show- they provide additional "micro-flexibility", allowing the tire to adapt and form to changing terrain. As the tire encounters wet rocks, uneven roots, or hard-to-soft transitions, the tire flexes and adapts, minimizing skids, slide-outs, and false starts. All of this happens without diminishing the strength of the lug.

EFX MotoClaw FAQ's
What type of terrain is the EFX MotoClaw best suited for?
The EFX MotoClaw is an incredibly versatile all-terrain UTV tire engineered to conquer rugged landscapes. Its aggressively spaced, non-directional tread pattern excels at climbing rocks, grabbing roots, and navigating light mud while maintaining excellent self-cleaning capabilities on challenging trails.
What tire pressure (PSI) should I run in the MotoClaw?
While the sidewall states a maximum of 18 to 22 PSI for peak load capacity, most UTV riders find the trail-riding sweet spot between 12 and 15 PSI. Lower pressure maximizes rock-crawling grip, while higher PSI improves high-speed hard-pack stability.
Is the EFX MotoClaw puncture resistant?
Yes, the MotoClaw boasts a rugged 8-ply rated radial construction* with reinforced sidewalls specifically designed to resist cuts and punctures. This heavy-duty build protects against sharp rocks and trail debris, providing peace of mind and extreme durability during aggressive riding.
*Some models utilize a 6-ply, bias construction. See above for more details
What do customer reviews say about the EFX MotoClaw?
Riders consistently praise the MotoClaw for its outstanding forward bite, off-road traction, and exceptional tread longevity. Reviews highlight how the deep, strong lugs deliver confidence-inspiring steering response and stability across diverse environments without wearing down quickly on hard-pack surfaces.
