• DETRATEC™ Tread Design: This patented technology uses central spoon-shaped knobs separated from side knobs by a wavy longitudinal groove. It acts as a mud-trapping bucket, collecting terrain for massive lateral thrust before releasing it for rapid self-cleaning.
• Bottomless Dirt Performance: Scoop-shaped blocks maximise the rack effect on soft terrains, pulling you through the deepest mud and sand.

Advanced Tread Compounds & Wear Resistance

• Dual-Compound Rear Tire: Features a center made of 100% carbon black rubber for remarkable abrasion and tearing resistance. The shoulder compound is formulated with 80% carbon black and 20% silica for thermal stability and grip even under heavy cornering stress.
• Application-Specific Front Compounds: Radial front sizes utilize a carbon black compound for extreme abrasion resistance, while bias-ply front sizes feature a newly developed compound designed for a wider operating temperature range and greater surface adhesion.
• Improved Mileage Profile: The rear sizes feature a shorter and wider contact patch compared to the previous Karoo 3. This optimises the footprint, reduces irregular wear, and grants riders greater overall mileage.
