Imagine confidently towing your trailer or camper even in the chill of fall and winter. That’s exactly what you get with Kenda Karrier KR35 trailer tires.
-
Durable Radial Design: Whether you're sticking to the highway or venturing off-road, the KR35’s radial build is made to handle it all. With a larger contact patch, these tires deliver superior grip and control. They also reduce rolling resistance, dissipating heat more efficiently, which means better fuel efficiency and smoother handling.
-
Optimized for Cold Weather: Thanks to its silica-enhanced tread compound, the KR35 stays flexible even in freezing conditions. While typical trailer tires lose traction as the temperature drops, the silica keeps the KR35 from stiffening. Plus, it enhances grip on wet roads, improving braking power when you need it most.
-
Effective in Water and Snow: The KR35’s design features angled sipes and a dense tread pattern to channel water and snow away from the tire. This reduces the chances of hydroplaning and keeps snow from packing into the grooves, so you maintain steady performance, no matter the weather.
-
Built for Longevity and Comfort: Despite its flexibility in colder temperatures, the KR35 doesn't sacrifice durability. The five-rib tread design promotes even wear, extending the tire's life, while the specially engineered tread shape ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, even over long distances.

Benefits of Silica in Tires
Although the use of Silica in tires has been around since the 1990's, very few understand the reasoning behind the addition and what makes Silica unique. In general, the addition of Silica into tires accomplishes two things that were thought to be antithetical to each other in the tire world- increasing grip/traction while at the same time increasing fuel efficiency. Here is a breakdown of the benefits of having Silica infused tires:
- Improved traction in wet and wintery conditions: The addition of Silica into the rubber compound of a tire allows the tire to maintain greater flexibility at lower temperatures. By allowing the tire to maintain it's flexibility it is better able to conform to the underlying road surface which translates to better grip and traction.
- Increased fuel efficiency: One of the main losses of energy from a tire is when a tire "rebounds" from deformation. Silica makes tires slightly softer which means they are able to rebound to their original shape with a lot less energy. This translates into decreases rolling resistance which means your tires require less energy to maintain their speed. By reducing rolling resistance, you significantly increase your fuel efficiency.
